Launch of book: Heritage Homes in South Longford

The book, Heritage Homes in South Longford, by Eamon Hughes, has detailed histories of eighteen houses in the barony of Shrule. Many are still intact and lived in, though some are sadly ruined or gone. The book is the result of eight years of painstaking research and is richly illustrated throughout. The launch will be performed by Jacqueline Whyte and Tom Reilly.
