Irishtown Heritage Group - Our Community, Our Heritage - Exploring our Foundations

An open exhibition where the community are invited to gather, and actively participate in, exchanging information/folklore/photographs to ultimately capture our unwritten social history.

This will be an opportunity for the community to share their stories, memories and illustrations which depict the lifestyle, traditions and cultural heritage of times gone by. Incorporating an exhibition of material already gathered, and an opportunity to share, we are inviting everyone, including diaspora, to contribute, photos, memories and artefacts from the past to help us create a richer, shared community narrative. Do you have old photos, stories, cherished memories or artefacts from the past? We’d love to include them as we look back and celebrate our history together. Your contributions help keep these moments alive for future generations.
