To celebrate National Heritage Week 2026, Head Gardener's House at Fota will be open on Sunday 16th August from 10am to 4pm. This is a free event offering a self-guided tour of this charming former Head Gardener's House of Fota House & Gardens, now restored as self-catering accommodation. Visitors can enjoy the scenic location while exploring the work of Irish Landmark Trust.

Please be advised that parking is only available at the Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens and there is a 10-minute walk from the carpark to the Head Gardener's House.
