To celebrate National Heritage Week 2026, Castletown Gate House and Round House will be open on Sunday 16th August from 10am to 4pm. This is a free event offering a self-guided tour of these charming gate houses, now restored as self-catering accommodation.

Having just undergone some interior improvements, visitors can take a step back in time while exploring the conservation work undertaken by Irish Landmark Trust.

There is parking available in Celbridge, the town is also well served by public transport.
