Celebrate National Heritage Week 2026 at the Cliffs of Moher Experience from 15 to 23 August with a diverse programme of interactive demonstrations, workshops and guided experiences exploring Ireland's rich cultural and natural heritage.

In keeping with this year's theme, Heritage at Risk, visitors will have the opportunity to meet skilled craftspeople, heritage experts and cultural practitioners who are helping to preserve traditional knowledge, language, craftsmanship and connections to the landscape for future generations.

Throughout the week, discover traditional weaving and wool crafts with Anne O'Toole (15 & 18 August), explore the importance of the Irish language with Helena Considine (16 & 19 August), and join Ger Morrissey for guided tours examining the unique habitats and landscapes of the Cliffs of Moher (17 & 21 August). Visitors can also learn about the craft of hurley making with Aidan Cuddihy (20 & 23 August) and experience traditional blacksmithing and woodworking demonstrations with the Travelling Tradesmen (22 August).

Through stories, skills, language, craftsmanship and a deeper understanding of our natural environment, this engaging programme highlights the living traditions that continue to shape Ireland's cultural identity and the importance of safeguarding them for generations to come.
