Drop-in at your leisure. Displays will remain in Christ Church, Fermoy throughout Heritage Week.
As part of efforts to showcase the risk of losing the wonderful heritage of Christ Church, Fermoy, local groups and organisations who use the facilities in the adjoining Adair Hall will display some of their work during Heritage Week 2026. This will include an exhibition of photography by the incredibly talented Breeda Kiely Morgan, a showcase of floral arrangements by local flower clubs, displays of beautiful hand made quilts, and a gallery of children’s art.
Photography:
Breeda Kiely Morgan is an acclaimed landscape and wildlife photographer based in Fermoy. A selection of her work will be on display in the Church. You can see more of her works linked in the Instagram below.
Floral Designs:
Local Flower Clubs including Fermoy, Conna, and Castlelyons will showcase their flower arrangements as a backdrop to the beauty of Christ Church. These arrangements will be placed in strategic areas to highlight the critical and much needed remedial work to save this iconic building. The Flower Clubs involved hope visitors will enjoy the arrangements and the wonderful work of our very talented local flower arrangers.
Patchwork:
Local quilters Mary O’Connor, Angela Jordan, Claire Daniels, and Eilís Watson will have their gorgeous quilts on display. Join them for their own Heritage Week quilting workshop on Thursday, August 20th at 11am.
On street parking available.
Restrooms available in Adair Hall.
