
'Heritage At Play' Lego Brick Event

Join renowned brick artist, Jessica Farrell, for this event where you can explore Irish
heritage in a fun, creative and child-friendly way.
The event will include a display of LEGO brick art collection (originally commissioned by The Heritage Council) based on Irish culture and heritage
Get stuck into hands-on, LEGO brick building activities creating pieces such as an Irish High Cross, a old-style water pump or even making LEGO wildflowers!
This is a drop in event, with a morning and afternoon session. No booking required
Suitable for children aged 6+ (and their families) on a rolling, walk-in basis .
For younger children there will be a LEGO Brick Pit for children aged 4+
Jessica Farrell is an internationally-known LEGO Brick Artist, who is a on The Heritage Council's Heritage In Schools Scheme panel.
She recently created a remarkable model of St. Mel's Cathedral, on display in Longford Branch Library, showcasing not only the beauty of the cathedral through LEGO, but also the fun and vibrant life in Longford town.
