Helena Bergin, Architectural Conservation Officer with Fingal County Council, will give a presentation on the stained glass windows in the Fingal area from the Harry Clarke Studios that were designed and executed by Harry Clarke himself or created by the studio when he was overseeing production. Harry is one of Ireland's most renowned stained glass artist and his distinctive style is revered nationally and internationally, with pieces on display in the National Gallery of Ireland, the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin, the Crawford Art Gallery in Cork, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Wolfsonian Museum in Florida. The examples of his work in Fingal are located in churches or chapels in several towns and villages, including Oldtown and Naul.
