This exhibition showcases the schoolwork and penmanship of Anne and Mary Martin from Bailieborough Model School. The collection displays their exceptionally well-preserved and legible school copy books, with their beautiful illustrations, calculations, maps and diagrams. This collection not only illustrates the curriculum in the 1880s, but also a vital ability at risk in the present day, our handwriting.
