Hands-on History: Swords and Shields!

Join Scéal Heritage to design and decorate your own unique wooden sword and shield, and learn about late medieval Ireland through the amazing story of Granuaile, the Mayo pirate queen!

The workshop lasts for one hour, and is suitable for children aged 6 - 13 years (younger children should be accompanied by an adult). Dress for mess!

Places are limited, so advance booking through the library is essential to avoid disappointment.
