Discover how Gunpowder was made in the 19th century on this 2.5km walk on the banks of the River Lee.

The Royal Gunpowder Mills at Ballincollig is an industrial archaeological site of enormous national and international importance. It ranks as the most important and largest industrial archaeological site in Ireland.
