To celebrate Heritage Week 2025 Michael Parsons of Laois Heritage Society will lead a walking tour of historic Portlaoise. Leaving from the James Fintan Lalor statue located at County Hall at 2.30pm, learn about the history of Portlaoise town and its inhabitants through the centuries. This is an outdoor event so rain coat and comfortable shoes are advised. Booking not required.
