Come on a guided tour of the Dunmanoge historic graveyard and church ruin with local archaeologist Dr Sharon Greene. This tour will provide insights into what we have learned and achieved since being accepted into the Adopt a Monument Scheme in 2022. Our activities include a comprehensive Conservation Management Plan, a Discovery Programme’s UAV (drone) and Geophysical survey of the surrounding field, a site history, a Memorial markers Recording Project, and Conservation works completed to date.
These tours are facilitated with the landowner’s permission.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, with suitable footwear due to moderately challenging and uneven surfaces
