Greenore Heritage Day

24 August, 2pm - 5pm

  • Greenore Co-Op
  • Euston Street, Greenore
  • A91 KR6K
  • Co. Louth

Join us from 2 p.m. on Sunday 24th August. Enjoy vintage cars, ukulele band, village walks and talks and visit the Greenore Railway and Maritime Museum and Miniature Railway display.

North-East Vintage Car Club visit: 2 PM
Dundalk Ukulele Strummers: 3 PM
Village Walks and Talks throughout the weekend.

The Vintage Cars will be parked in Euston Street, Greenore, outside the Co-Op. The model railway diorama - reproducing the railway line from Dundalk to Greenore, is in the basement (down steep stairs and with a low ceiling). The Maritime Heritage exhibits are in the Victorian Tea Rooms and upstairs in the Assembly Rooms. This is a genuine Victorian public building and does not necessarily meet modern expectations in relation to access arrangements. There is a outdoors, street-side eating and drinking area, where Afternoon Teas purchased in the Tearooms may be consumed, subject to the weather.
