Girley Bog NHA Walk

Join the Irish Peatland Conservation Council (IPCC) for a fun and fact filled walk to the IPCC area of this Natural Heritage Area.

Discover the IPCC's peatland research on the reserve exploring the use of micropropagated Sphagnum moss as a peatland restoration method, observe the diversity of flora and fauna and learn the quirky facts about how these plants and animals survive on the wet and open peatland habitat.

Meeting at Girley Hall (C15 PV21) participants should wear strong footwear and clothes appropriate for the outdoors.
