Join us to explore and celebrate the rich cultural, historical and natural heritage of Galway’s treasured woodland. Share stories about local placenames, traditional woodland use, wildlife and unique habitats, helping to preserve this valuable knowledge for future generations.
Led by: Dr Jim Higgins, Heritage Officer, and David McNicholas, Biodiversity Officer of Galway City Council in partnership with Friends of Merlin Woods.
