Join us for a guided biodiversity walk through the beautiful Garadice Lough Wood, one of Ireland’s most significant ancient oak woodlands. The walk will be led by the Biodiversity Officer with Leitrim County Council and an ecologist from Woodrow Sustainable Solutions.

This free event offers a unique opportunity to discover the woodland’s rich plant and animal life, learn about ongoing ecological surveys and conservation efforts, and explore what makes this special place so important for biodiversity.

Whether you are a nature enthusiast, local resident, or simply curious about the wildlife on your doorstep, all are welcome to come along and learn more about the future conservation of Garadice Lough Wood.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Suitable for all ages and families. Please note that children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Meeting point is at the Garadice Lough amenity car park: https://maps.app.goo.gl/3rftJhMY7N8ibpKf6
