From Concrete to Sea: Seaweed Foraging and Inks
Foraging on the edges of a coastal town, and a chance to play with seaweed inks.
Join Samuel Arnold Keane and Megan Clancy along a foraging walk where Bantry town is shaped by the Atlantic Ocean. We will discover the coastal plants and seaweeds that coexist within a short walk of the chippers, shops and cafes of Bantry. The bay which was such a source of inspiration and peace for Ellen Hutchins over 200 years ago, can still bring us that sense of belonging and awe. We will bring our imagination churned up by the seaweed forage back to the studio at CoreCreative and use seaweed inks in a ‘scribble session’.
Tuesday 18th: 2pm to 5pm. €35 Booking required.
