From Classroom to Community Centre - Stories & Photos

The current community centre was once Mountpleasant National School. 40 years ago, in 1986, the Community Council was formed and their home was the old National School. Today we have a modern building - renovated by various committees over the years. We have interviewed people who attended the national school and recorded their stories - you will hear some of those stories on the day. A photographic collection, originally collated in 2000, and now digitised, will also be displayed.

Our popular Community Market will be held in conjunction with this event.
