Join Cork's Water Community Officer Ellen Murphy LAWPRO and Cork City Council's Parks Biodiversity Officer Rosemarie McDonald for a full-filled morning to learn about the aquatic life within the River Lee in the Regional Park in Ballincollig. Learn how to identify the freshwater bugs and insects and take part in citizen science to see what bugs are associated with clean and polluted water.
Suitable for primary school kids 8+ and adults. Children must be accompanied by a guardian.
Please bring waterproof clothes and wellies if you want to enter the river.
