Free Entry to the Bog of Allen Nature Centre

The Bog of Allen Nature Centre is the headquarters of the Irish Peatland Conservation Council. Visit, explore and learn within the peatland exhibition the story of peatland formation, the archeological importance of peatlands and the diversity of flora and fauna of these wet and wild landscapes.

Take time to visit the peat free wildlife gardens and observe the diversity of biodiversity that call these gardens their habitat and where you will also find one of the largest public displays of insect eating plants!
