Celebrate National Heritage Week 2026 and join us for a relaxed stroll through the beautiful Glenamaddy/Frass Greenway with Dr. Siobhan Power (Geological Survey Ireland) and Rosina Joyce (Galway County Council). Discover some of the plant and animal species that live there and learn about how the habitats were formed. Perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Don’t forget comfy shoes and dress for the weather.

This event is run under licence from the NPWS and is run in partnership with the Glenamaddy - Frass Greenway Committee and Glenamaddy Tidy Towns.

This event is a free ticketed event and places are limited. Car-pooling will be arranged from opposite the New Cemetery due to limited space at the site.
