Bailieborough's Hidden Gems

The Old Church of Ireland and Graveyard has been accepted into the 'Adopt A Monument' Scheme. The monuments have been photographed and recorded and we now wish to examine and learn more about the biodiversity of the site with the assistance of Heather Bothwell BSc. DipFEcol'.

Heather will present some of her findings which will include a species list of trees, plants and vegetation, an insect survey, noting insects on the wing and microhabitats, nest sites etc. Heather always surprises us with her observations. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
