Field-Names and Minor Place-Names of Tydavnet

Tydavnet Community Centre will host a talk on the field-names and minor place-names of the parish with Grace Moloney of Clogher Historical Society/Cumann Seanchais Chlochair, who is co-ordinating a county field-names project for Monaghan Heritage Office. The project is collecting field-names from residents of Tydavnet parish this year and we would love to hear from anyone with stories to share about the field-names on their own farms. Refreshments served.
