Farming in Harmony with Nature with John Murphy, Bushy Park, Watergrasshill Parish

In the Netherlands, a new kind of farm has blossomed such that now 32 ‘Herenboeren’ farms have been established to address modern farming challenges. John and Minna Murphy have converted ‘Our Farm at Bushy Park’ to a vegetable growing enterprise based on these principals - in essence, farming in harmony with nature.

This method involves prioritising soil health, biodiversity, and natural systems - producing food that is better for both people and the land - as well as centering the community at all stages of the farming process.

John will share his story and insights, and how you can become involved in this innovative cooperative.
