Family Fun Heritage Day at Glendalough Visitor Centre OPW

Come to Glendalough Visitor Centre OPW on Sunday August 23rd with all the family to celebrate Heritage Week.  We start off with a Family friendly tour of the Monastic Site in Glendalough followed by hourly sessions of The Big Dig organised by The School of Irish Archaeology and LEGO Workshops by LEGO brick artist Jessica O'Farrell. This initiative is hosted by Glendalough Visitor Centre and Monastic Site OPW with support of The Heritage Office of Wickow County Council in association with Glendalough Heritage Forum as a National Heritage Plan. Pre booking is not necessary and these events are Free but please be aware that car parking fees apply to park in the Glendalough Valley.
