Exploring Ballinderreen's Past: Heritage, Memories and Place

Join us in Ballinderreen Community Centre on Sunday morning August 23rd to celebrate National Heritage Week and find out what the Ballinderreen Parish Heritage Audit has been uncovering.

We have been busy collecting and recording lots of information about our local heritage sites and the stories and traditions associated with them. Our aim is to build a strong knowledge base to help us to plan for the future protection of our local heritage so that we can hand it on to future generations.

Explore the natural, built and cultural heritage of our Parish through an illustrated talk with Zena Hoctor, Heritage Researcher, and a photographic exhibition of our local heritage sites. We invite you to bring along your stories and memories to share with us. If you have any old photographs, newspaper clippings, publications that you think might add to the story, we would love to see them. We look forward to seeing you there.
