A walking tour of the Castle Field area of Enniscrone, led by Michael Breen & Paddy Tuffy, to impart some information and history on our local heritage, visiting the sites of megalithic tomb remains, ringforts, Valentine's church ruins and the O'Dowda / Nolan castle ruins, with an opportunity to see the conservation work recently completed.
Dress subject to prevailing weather conditions.
Wear sturdy footwear. We will mostly be on pathways but access to certain areas will be over rough grassland.
