Emyvale Heritage Week Community Party

You are warmly invited to Emyvale’s second annual Heritage Week Community Party on Sunday August 23rd, from 3-5pm. Last year’s gathering was a delightful success, bringing together all the generations. There will feature live music from Ceolin, a local traditional group, just back from the Belfast Fleadh. Joining their ranks will be many familiar faces and voices to entertain us with songs and stories of times past.

Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon and you are welcome to bring your own baked goods. Our theme is local heritage and the event will take place outdoors at the Mill Race Green, behind the Emyvale Leisure Centre, Main Street, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, weather permitting. We do have an indoor space if needed. The area has parking and is fully accessible, with toilet facilities.

Come along for a relaxed, old style afternoon of neighbourliness and friendship in the heart of North Monaghan’s busiest village! Families are welcome and transportation for seniors can be arranged. It’s free and organised by volunteers on behalf of the community.
