Emo Court Wellingtonia Avenue Walk

Emo Court boasts the longest most complete Wellingtonia Avenue in Ireland measuring exactly one mile in length to the inch, the Victorians were very exact!
Come and walk and experience the original carriageway entrance to Emo Court and magnificent vistas of the James Gandon inspired mansion coming into view as you sweep in through the avenue.
Hear the stories of the residents and guests who travelled the avenue on their way to Emo Court and parklands.
Follow the avenue down to Emo’s beautifully maintained walled garden including our prized apple trees boasting 7 different tree varieties including our very own cider trees planted by the Jesuits in their time here.
