Drumcliff Creamery and Milltown School and their place in the development of the nation
Drumcliff creamery was one of the first Co-Op's in the country set up by Jocelyn Gore-Booth with Horace Plunkett. Milltown school was where Constance, Eva and Mabel Gore Booth had their first suffrage meeting in Sligo. both buildings are at risk at present and are in poor condition . The talk will cover the history of both and should be a very interesting afternoon and will be led by Leo Leydon.
