Children’s Workshop with Lisa Cliffe & Fiona O’Reilly - Dreaming About the River Blackwater

Celebrate our local natural heritage during Heritage Week with a fun-filled, family friendly workshop with local Forest School teacher Fiona O’Reilly and Dance Artist Lisa Cliffe.

Join us for an exciting, creative workshop designed especially for children and families. As summer gently transitions into autumn, take some time to explore and experiment with natural and creative materials as we recall what we saw, heard and enjoyed near our local waterways over the summer holidays.

Along the way, children will:
Learn about and explore flora and fauna of the River Blackwater
Imagine and create new stories of our local river
Understand how to respect and protect nature

All materials will be provided, and there will be plenty of guidance and support.
