Dancing at the Crossroads promises to be a wonderful day of entertainment, community spirit and traditional Irish culture, with something for all ages to enjoy. Inspired by the cherished tradition of neighbours gathering to dance, sing and socialise, this event celebrates the rich heritage and warm hospitality that have long been at the heart of rural Ireland.

A fantastic line-up of talented musicians will provide live entertainment from 1.00 pm until late, creating the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon and evening of music, dancing and fun. Browse a variety of stalls, meet friends old and new, and enjoy the vibrant festival atmosphere.

A highlight of the day will be the ever-popular Sheaf Throwing Competition, where competitors will test their strength and skill. The overall winner of the Men's competition will have the honour of taking home the prestigious John Russell Perpetual Cup. Families can enjoy an exciting Soccer Blitz, face painting and other activities throughout the day.

A selection of food and refreshments will be available and a welcoming cupán tae served in the school, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and catch up with friends and neighbours.

Don’t miss the Monster Raffle, featuring fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses and supporters. Whether enjoying the music, browsing the stalls, cheering on the competitions or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Dancing at the Crossroads promises a memorable celebration of community, tradition and togetherness. We look forward to welcoming everyone for a fantastic day of music, fun and friendship.
