Croom Family Fun Day: Help Protect Your Local River

Our Family Fun Day helps families discover how invasive species affect the rivers, lakes and wildlife of the Maigue catchment. Through engaging, hands-on activities, children and adults will learn how plants and animals can accidentally spread between places, why this matters for native wildlife and river health, and how simple actions can make a difference.

Families will be introduced to key messages such as Check, Clean, Dry, safe awareness around species like Giant Hogweed, and practical ways to help protect the Maigue and its tributaries.
