Coorycommane Loop: Guided Nature Walk

Walk in the footsteps of Ellen Hutchins, Ireland’s first female botanist, with NPWS Ecologist Clare Heardman, on this 5km loop walk. In good weather this loop walk provides spectacular views over Bantry Bay and Ballylickey to the south and to Co Cork’s highest mountain inland. Along the trail there are lots of interesting wildflowers to see, including woodland and peatland species.

The terrain is rugged and boggy in places so wear walking boots. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
