We are delighted to invite you to a special Water Heritage Day event celebrating the rich heritage of the River Goul on Sunday, 23 August, from 11.00am to 12.00pm at St Kieran’s Community Hall, Johnstown.
Led by local heritage enthusiast Susan Garrett, this engaging presentation will explore the history, ecology and interconnected landscapes of the River Goul. Discover the stories, memories and wildlife that have shaped the river through time, and learn about its enduring connection to the communities that live along its banks.
Join us as we celebrate our local water heritage and gain a deeper appreciation of the natural, cultural and historical significance of this remarkable river.
