
City Assembly House: Building Tours & Energy Efficiency Exhibition

Daily tours of the City Assembly House will be offered during Heritage Week which will give visitors the chance to learn of the building's fascinating history as an art gallery in the 18th century, Dublin's city hall in the 19th century, and as a Civic Museum in the 20th. The tour will also describe how the building was restored by the Irish Georgian Society in partnership with Dublin City Council bringing it back into use as a publicly accessible cultural centre.
A temporary exhibition on Energy Efficiency will also be displayed during the course of Heritage Week while visitors will be able to view an important collection of 18th and 19th century topographical views of counties Dublin and Wicklow.
