Chime a tower bell at Christ Church Taney

We invite you to come along on 19th August and hear about the history of the bells in Christ Church Taney. We run two 45 minute sessions. The first is from 7 - 7.45pm and the second is from 8 - 8.45pm The sessions are held in the ringing chamber of the tower at Taney. Each session includes a 15 minute talk by one of our bell ringers about the history of the Taney bells. This is followed by an opportunity to listen to some of our bell ringers ring in different ways for 15 minutes. The final part of the session is your opportunity to chime a bell.

The event is mainly for adults but children over 10 yrs can attend if accompanied by an adult. This is a free event but we do require you to register as our numbers at any one time in the tower are limited.
