Want to find out all the Cathedral Quarter project and travel through time, then come along on the 'Cathedral Quarter Jaunt'. Step into the past and discover the rich layers of history woven through the Cathedral Quarter! The Cathedral Quarter Jaunt is a guided walking tour and interactive experience that invites locals and visitors alike to explore the architectural beauty, forgotten tales, and cultural treasures of one of the town’s oldest districts.
Hear about the events that have helped to shape Letterkenny and it's place in the world. Discover characters from our past. Find out all our historical quarter and see what actions we have taken to revitalise the area. Hear about our plans for the future with the local authority Donegal County Council and other stakeholders.

The Jaunt will begin at the Hiring Fair statues, making our way up the Market Square stopping at Mount Southwell and on Castle Street. We will then stop at the town's most famous landmark - St Eunans Cathedral and hear about it's fascinating history. Cut across the road and visit Letterkenny's oldest in use building - Conwal Parish Church.
Then we dander down the Church Lane, hearing about the former residents of the street and the exciting plans for the future. The Jaunt will finish up at No. 3 Church Lane with at visit to the Cathedral Quarter office where participants will get a behind the scenes look at what goes on in the project. Admission €5 per person
