A talk and exhibition exploring the foundations of an Aran Knitting Cottage Industry born in the late 1950s in a local community in South Leitrim. There will be a discussion about how the group was founded and what life was like in the community in the 1950s and early 1960s. Attendees are invited to share stories and memories of these cultural activities that shaped us in our community
