Do you fancy talking and tasting potatoes in Borris, Carlow. Want to get a taste of a heritage variety of potato as grown in the last 200 years?. Join the crew of Carlow County Library for this free family event, that’s open to all. The Carlow Heritage Project is an innovative living-history project designed by Carlow County Library Service on behalf of Carlow County Council's Commemorations Committee, to highlight the methods and challenges of growing heritage varieties of potatoes. During the project, a diverse group of children have literally watched the potatoes grow in the modest green spaces of some of the libraries in County Carlow. Join us to taste the different heritage potatoes.
