Abbeyleix Vitality Hub Bike ride to Shanahoe's Maize Maze at Dealgrove Farm

Based in Fr Breen Park in Abbeyleix, the Abbeyleix Vitality Hub is a community initiative, set up to help improve physical & wellness activity awareness and opportunities in Abbeyleix and surrounds.

The role of the Abbeyleix Vitality Hub is to connect people and help contribute to developing thriving active and engaged communities and as part of Heritage Week, we are interested in visiting local landscapes that have shaped us. Starting at the Abbeyleix Vitality Hub (R32 H7WR), the focus of our cycle to the Maize Maze at Dealgrove Farm in Shanahoe (R32 E654) is on visiting and viewing local traditions, landscapes and skills that impact on us and our communities.

The Maize Maze at Dealgrove Farm in Shanahoe features a 6-acre maize maze designed in the shape of a tractor, with eight puzzle stations. Visitors can also enjoy Maisy the cow, artisan bakes and coffee from Jane's Bakes.

Tea/Coffee and sweet treats will be provided at Dealgrove Farm

Return to Fr. Breen Park R32 H7WR at 4.30pm

All cyclists must start & finish at R32 H7WR
Participants must be comfortable cycling on a public road
