
Big Dig at Glendalough
A childrens hands-on archaeological ecavation led by the School of Irish Archaeology (SIA) where participants get the chance to be an archaeologist by digging for treasures and artefacts dating back over 1000 years and learning about our Viking ancestors through the eyes of real archaeologists.
Hourly sessions, no booking just turn up.
Set on the lawn of Glendalough Visitor Centre within the backdrop of Glendalough monastic enclosure
