Bat Walk in Killarney National Park

Come join us for a thrilling bat walk in the beautiful Killarney National Park! This in-person event will start at King's Bridge, the entrance to the park across from the Cathedral in Killarney, a perfect spot to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat.

Led by the Killarney National Park Education Centre, there will be a short introductory talk on Irelands Bats and other wildlife at night followed by an opportunity to listen out for bat using Bat detectors.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is an outdoor event, please wear suitable shoes, bring a flashlight and dress for the weather!

This event is supported by the Heritage Council, National Parks and Wildlife Service, the Kerry Biosphere Reserve and Kerry County Council Biodiversity Office.
