Bat Talk in Roscommon Castle

23 August, 8:45pm - 10pm

  • Roscommon Castle, Loughnanene Park, Roscommon Town
  • Co. Roscommon

The members of the Roscommon Tidy Towns Association are organising a talk on bats, which will be given by Ecologist David Fallon. David will answer any questions you might have, dispel some theories regarding bats, and he will have a bat detector for people to use.

This event is free and everyone is welcome. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult. As the event is outdoors, you are advised to wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes and bring a torch for your safety.

There are two carparks adjacent to the Park and ample free parking in the carparks on both sides of Roscommon town centre, which is within walking distance of Loughnaneane Park. The Park and the entrance to the castle are wheelchair accessible.
