
Bat Talk in Roscommon Castle

The members of the Roscommon Tidy Towns Association are organising a talk on bats, which will be given by Ecologist David Fallon on Saturday, the 22nd of August, at Roscommon Castle, Loughnanene Park, 8.45 pm-10 pm
David will answer any questions you might have, dispel some theories regarding bats, and he will have a bat detector for people to use.
This event is free, and everyone is welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. As the event is outdoors, you are advised to wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes and bring a torch for your safety.
Free parking is available at the entrance to the Park from Castle Street and the main entrance to the Park on the Lough Road.
Loughnaneane Park is within walking distance from the town centre. Free parking is available in Roscommon Town, with ample parking available in carparks around the town.
