Ballymaloe Organic Farm School Heritage Walk 2025

Talamh Beo are hosting a series of farm walks across Ireland through the lens of our natural heritage, agroecology and local food systems.
We warmly welcome everyone to join us at Ballymaloe Organic Farm School for a 2 hour walk and talk.

Ballymaloe Organic Farm School (2023) is an exciting venture led by Darina Allen, Co-Founder of the world renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School, Sustainable Food advocate and Farming for Nature Ambassador. Alongside the Ballymaloe Cookery School, we deliver an exciting course schedule from our 100 acre organic and bio-diverse farm and gardens in East Cork, Ireland.

The working farm comprises a brand new one acre glasshouse, poly tunnels, fruit and vegetable beds, orchards, an Urban Garden, amphitheatre, pond, herb garden and our team look after a small herd of Jersey cows, over 500 free range laying chickens, pigs and very recently sheep. We also keep bees, grow flowers for the school and cottages and offer both farm produce and other delicious food and craft products in our farm shop.

As we’ll spend time walking and learning around the farm please bring suitable clothing and footwear - and allow for changeable weather!
