
Ballyboughal River Biodiversity Walk

The walk will take place in the river flood plains and rich meadows around Ballyboughal town and will concentrate on the ecological importance and conservation value of such habitats. Attendees will learn about the complex interplay between plants and pollinators, the importance of grasses and other larval food plants of butterflies and the habitats of birds, amphibians and other invertebrates.
