The Education Team at Dublin Castle is delighted to offer a series of workshops and tours as part of National Heritage Week 2025.
As part of our Education Programme, Dublin Castle is delighted to offer an Autism Friendly Tour this month! Join Tour Guides Daragh and Daisy on a tour that explores the rich, layered history of Dublin Castle.
Upon arrival, all attendees will be given a sensory kit in the Education Room. From here, our staff will bring visitors upstairs to experience the Castle's State Apartment rooms including the Drawing Room, the Throne Room, the Portrait Gallery and St Patrick's Hall. Following the tour of the State Apartments, participants will return to the Education Room where they can deposit their sensory kits.
We have taken extra care to facilitate a tour that meets the requirements of those with sensory needs. This is a unique opportunity to learn and explore the history of Dublin Castle in a quiet and considered manner.
This tour is free of charge. For the purpose of ensuring a tailored experience to all participants, places are limited. Bookings are by email only.
