Join us for a free biodiversity workshop, designed especially for older adults. Discover traditional food preservation techniques many of us grew up with such as pickling, drying, and making jams and preserves and learn how they support biodiversity today.
Facilitator: Anna Brown of Big Sky Flowers
Anna will share her expertise on using local, seasonal, and heritage varieties, and offer inspiring ways to keep these traditions alive.
This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to:
✅ Learn practical tips and modern twists on classic methods.
✅ Share your own stories and food traditions.
✅ Strengthen your connection to local ecosystems and seasonal rhythms.
✅ Celebrate community, biodiversity, and the flavours of the past.
Free event | Refreshments provided. All are welcome!
