Art in the Abbey

Call into Sligo Abbey on Saturday 22nd August between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to participate in Art in the Abbey.

Bring along the medium and materials of your choice: pencil and paper, watercolours and pad, acrylics, oils, pastels, etc.

Pick a location in the Abbey to work from (please respect paying visitors access to all areas of the site).

Help to record our heritage by creating your own interpretation of any aspect of the site - the buildings, the carvings, the biodiversity, or even just the feel of this wonderful place.

Weather permitting, you can choose to display your finished piece in the Abbey as an outdoor gallery.

No booking required.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
